Hey everyone, I'm going to write an article for my "Web Magazine" www.dungeon-crawler.com (cheap pop). And, unlike the last time I asked for help for an article, this one I'm actually going to write!!!!

Here is the idea for the article: I want to review console and/or handheld systems versions of Collectible Card Games. I thought of this after I got the Dragonball Z CCG game for the Game Boy Advance today for $10.

I now have two of these games, the Dragonball Z, and the Pokemon CCG for Game Boy Color. I know there is supposed to be a Yu-Gi-Oh one out (anyone know what the exact name of that game is???), what I'm looking for are any other games that can be included on this list.

All I ask is that they are at their heart, translations of the card game. So, the Pokemon RPGs (Red, Blue, Yellow etc. ad nauseum) would not count, but the Trading Card Game would.

Thanks for any help you all may be able to provide.

I dont know if this is exactly what youre looking for, but investigate Card Fighters' Clash for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. It has an SNK version and a Capcom version.

Wow, that game sounds very good...it wasn't exactly the kind of thing I was looking for (meaning this game doesn't exist in the real world), but that sounds very good.

I guess I should have mentioned that the original card game should exist in the real world...but if there are any other games like this one...I'd like to know about them as well.

Now, does anyone know where I can get a NGPC and that game cheap??? :D :D :D

Oh yeah, the page I found a review on had the game in Japanese...is there an English version???

Check out this site..has plenty of NGPC reviews:

http://www.classicgaming.com/sngp/games/svsc/svsc_menu.htm

You can get new, boxed, NGPC's in the shrinkwrap for a decent price on eBay. I picked up one a few months ago for under 30 bucks :-D

The game itself, the prices seem to swing wildly. However, the UK version with comes in the cool clamshell plastci cases, go for at least 10 bucks more.

The NGPC is very underrated, IMO. If only it was backlit, it would be perfect.

A review or the game? The game is available in English (both versions) as a US release. I have SNK but never got into it much, for the lack of understanding how these damn things work. (Don't want to part with it though, sorry)

Yu Gi Oh Games:

Yu-gi-oh! The Duelist of the Roses (PS2)
Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories (PSX)
Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul (GBA)
Yu-Gi-Oh! Stairway to the Destined (GBA--yet to be released)
Yu-gi-oh! Dark Duel Stories (GBC)

Nobody mentioned Lost Kingdoms, the GameCube RPG where you battle with collectible card summons!

Anything to help a fellow journalist!

BTW, did you get Dungeons and Dragons: Eye of the Beholder and was it any good?

If you're desperate enough for more games that you'd be willing to expand to PC, there's at least one Magic: The Gathering game out.

@ Achika, I was talking about the game...I'm not very coherent tonight...very tired after work, but I can't sleep :( Our house is too hot!!! Watching the Press Your Luck scandal documentary on the Game Show Network for the second time!!

thanks for the list of Yu-Gi-Oh games...I'll have to see which of those really are what I'm looking for...I know one of them will be the right one.

@ Jose - no, I didn't get the D&D game, as I am not a fan of RPGs. I believe it was a remake of a Commodore 64 game, and I think it got good reviews....

@Dahne - I have one of the Magic games (the old one) and I know there is a newer, online only one...

Thanks again for the help...if there are any more, let me know!!!
