I have a few backups of my TG 16 CD collection, I prefer to play those so I can keep my originals all minty and what not. Plus I can be more careless with the backups. I am currently using Verbatium CDRs and am burning them at 4-6x depending what drive I use. Thats the slowest I have. Now, my TG CD drive does not really like the discs. Loading times are like double some times tripled and sometimes just hang and do nothing. My originals play fine. I am sure this is just an issue with the brand media I am using. Can anyone else recommend a different brand of media? Let me know your experiences.

I play them on a Duo and have very little trouble. The only rule I've used is to stay away from colored discs and to burn them as slowly as possible. Not sure this helps. Do not buy the cheapest discs either.

I used Maxell discs for my backups in the past. I've never had a problem.
