Alright everyone, it's contest time again, this time for the tournament of all tournaments, the road to the Final Four, NCAA March Madness, one of the greatest events in sports. 65 teams enter, only one leaves with the championship. DP has went ahead and started a league over at yahoo, where everyone will be making their picks.

From there you make all of your picks up to the Final Four. You have until sometime on Thursday to do this, but I would get your picks in by Wednesday night to be safe.

After all the games are played, and the Final Four is set, you will then pick your winners for the semi-finals, and the finals, and pick a total score for each team in the final as a tie breaker. Whoever has the most points wins.

As for prizes, I'm not sure about that at this time, I'll have to let DP tell you what the champion will be getting.

Good luck everyone, and remember this is all for fun, so don't worry about not knowing much about college basketball. Just make some picks, and you never know, you might win.

I thought I would bring this to everyone's attention. Could royally fuck up every single NCAA Pick-Em tournament this year. Fucking mormon scum.

Damn Southern Ill. I picked them to go to the sweet 16!

Well, Cent. Michigan just upset Crighton and I called it, so I'm feeling pretty good about my standing so far. Once Oregon kicks the shit out of Kentucky, you guys might as well surrender.

That Southern Illinois game was bullshit. Shittiest call ever with 5 seconds left pretty much hands Missouri the win.

I think I had them going to the sweet 16 as well.

I don't expect to win anyways, my final 4 picks are funky as hell.

it's amazing how many of us have xaiver and Illinois going deep into the turny, I though I was kinda crazy picking them to win, but I guess not...as for the SIU/MO game, I'm a bad alumni, I go to SIUE and I picked MO....I thought about changing it, but I guess first guesses are the best :D

Well, I'm officially not going to win. Oregon got knocked off by Utah and I had them going to the final four. D'oh. I had Penn going to the final four too. Double D'oh. Here's hoping Arizona and Purdue dominate lol.

So far, I have a perfect Midwest bracket (go Hoosiers!!!!!!!!)

West bracket - 4 of 8 x_x lost one sweet 16 team in that one (West. Kentucky), go chalk teams!!!!

South bracket - as long as Maryland holds out, I'll have 7 of 8 (stupid Purdue...figures my dad's school would screw things up) Technically, he went to IUPUI, but his degree is w/ Purdue, so he still has one team in :)

East bracket - 5 for 8, need comeback from Butler...both the other teams I missed on I have going out next round...

this is the best bracket I've ever had so far!!!

well, my east bracket is kinda messed up, as for upset that I almost had....I hate notre dame, 1 point the other way and I would have had that one....eatern Tenesee lost by 3 to wake forest...weber St. couldn't close the door on Wisconsin, so I lost there too...as for upsets that went right...gonzaga, not much of one, but still an upset. Arizona St..., got that one,Tulsa, that one too. so I'm kinda hitting and missing, and extra point or 2 here and there I would have been rolling.

My official first round final tally:

Midwest 8-8 (hoody hoo!)
West 5-8
South 7-8
East 6-8

pretty good...if things go as planned, I'll only have one hole in my bracket after the second round :)

Of course, things never go as planned in this tourney :/

I still might pull this shit off, despite losing two of my final four picks already. I'm the only person who has Purdue going to the final four (hell, to the Championship game) and I simply can't figure out why. I've got Arizona winning the title and make no mistake, they are damn good.

I wanted Gonzoga to win... it's only two hours from my house (I think) and I always root for the underdogs. My pics on this game only reflect who I think will win, and I believe Arizona will, and I believe Purdue is very underrated. Did anyone actually watch Purdue games this year? They are ungodly stacked with talent, I think they should have had a higher seed.

Ok, so I have to admit I am glad I did not enter this year! I was routing for Gonzaga and Cal. I expected Cal to blow it (as an alum, I'm used to that), but I was hoping for a Ganzaga upset... they didn't look too bad)...

Congrats to whoever played the tournament under the name "Carmelo Anthony". Very prophetic! Was that you, Shompee1?

Great game last night. The close score doesn't tell the story. It wasn't back and forth with lead changes at all, but rather Kansas' pursuit of Syracuse that kept ebbing and flowing. Despite the fact that they never led in the game they had a chance to win it with a last-second three pointer.

THAT is what college basketball is all about. Great game.

All I needed was "favored" Kansas to win....thought I had it in the bag!

Congrats to Carmelo Anthony!

What does the winner get?
