I know someone here will have this answer, a few months ago I was browsing classic gaming websites and came across a unique little tabletop LED gaming system. I can't recall the name, but if I recall correctly it used a fast moving LED wand to create the illusion of a full LED matrix screen. It had a few carts, but was so rare that there was very little information on it. The website also had a section where previous owners could post their memories of the system. It had maybe 5 carts or so. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Definitely the Entex Adventurevision.

Fun fact - the Adventure vision uses the same technique as a DLP television to produce the on-screen picture! Of course, they didn't have hi-def yet ;)

Yep, that was it. Thanks guys! That thing looks so cool. Aside from getting lucky at a garage sale or thrift shop, I doubt I'll ever own one.

Why does a guy in Canada want to be paid in UK currency?
And did that guy have a shipment tucked away in storage somewhere? That is what I call 'pristene' shape!
But everything that guy is selling is about $200 overpriced.

Yea, it looks like that guy has a store from 1980 all boxed up somewhere in storage. There's no way you'll find a minter condition unit unless you travel back in time :) But, all of his auctions are overpriced.
I don't get the GBP either...

Whay does a guy in Canada want to be paid in UK currency?
My guess is that with the Canadian dollar doing better he feels he will get a better conversion from using GBP

We used to have a toy store here called Circus World that sold them until around 1984. They had made a little Kiosk where they had this and the Vectrex to demo. From what little I remember of it - Yes.
Until the Vectrex came along, this was about as good as you could get for portable gaming.
Defender, Super Cobra, and Turtles were really fun, and of surprisingly high quality. I never played Space Force, but it looks like your typical Asteroids clone.
So does anyone know what happened to Entex? Until the Gameboy, they were the kings of the handheld market. I still have most of my entex games I bought when I was young.
All but one still work, too!
