PS3 hits Europe 23. March ?

There were some rumors that PS3 would be delayed to September in Europe, but it seems like they were bullshit. Rumors says that it will hit Europe 23. March, if not that exact date, atleast around March. No price have been confirmed yet, but where i live it will most likely be around $800, the same price as PS2 at launch.

Im also curious about the launch titles. I heard we get Virtua Fighter 5 and Motorstorm. This might result in a much bigger success than the USA launch.

Well considering they're already not having any trouble meeting demand here in the states and over in Japan, I don't see any reason why they should have to delay the European launch again.

The rumors were true. The official release date for PS3 in Europe is 23. March, only 2 months left. 1 million consoles will be shipping. To begin with only the 60gb will be avalible, the 20gb model might come, depends on the demand. There will be 30 games to choose from, one of them is VF5 :) Tekken:DR and GT:HD will also be downloadable from day 1.

EDIT: Here is the release list. Damn its so much better than the US and japanese release. We get VF5 (as mentioned) and Virtua Tennis 3 from day 1. We also get Oblivion, Motorstorm and Sonic. I think the european release will go much better. However, price is still kinda high, but we'll see how much that has to say.

Didnt want to start a new thread because of this news, but the CELL cpu is now being prodused as 65ns instead of 90ns :) I wonder if the PS3 consoles that Europe will get got the 90ns or the 65ns CELL cpu.
