Right now I em enjoying GripShift a lot. I have not finished Resistance yet. Ridge Racer 7 is even better than Ridge Racer 6 was. I also like Untold Legends Dark Kingdom, but the general populous doesn't seem to like that game. I am also enjoying Full Auto 2, even better than the first one.

I have played Blazing Angels and Call of Duty 3 on the 360... months ago. That is the problem with all the next-gen ports.

Hmm I still think it's a little too early to be determining a favorite yet...especially since those aren't even PS3 exclusive.

Here is my list of the 5 best PS3 games so far:



1. Motorstorm import - Nothing currently available on PS3 can touch this. Unfortunately, it's the import version, and you still have to wait for the US version to release.

2. Resistance: Fall of Man - This isn't the dream game that everybody was hoping it would be, but it's definitely a solid game. Without this game, the US lineup would just be god awful.

3. NBA 2K7 - If you don't own a Xbox 360, and you happen to own a 1080p TV, then this game is a dream come true. It will run in 1080p (you have to go to your settings and deselect everything but 1080p for it to work), and it plays great. I still give the 360 version a edge because of the lack of rumble in the PS3 version, but for anybody that doesn't have a Xbox 360, this version of NBA 2K7 is outstanding.

4. Fight Night Round 3 - I think FNR3 is "slightly" better than the 360 version. The textures are a little bit better, and it has the new "Get in the Ring" mode, that is really cool. Only downside with this version compared to 360 is no rumble.

5. Ridge Racer 7 - Not too different from last years RR6 on 360, this is still a pretty good game. I'm not really that into the whole drifting racing games thing, but I rented this and did enjoy it while I had it.

Very short. I only have two games. I'm looking forward to Motorstorm as I saw a demo at Gamestop and it was pretty impressive.

Resistance- best Xbox FPS
Untold Legends- I liked Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance better.

I can't say there is anything worth buying that you can't basically get on another system- yet.

So I would say Motorstorm. If I have to say anything. And ignorantly so.

Is Gripshift good? I would have expected to like the PSP version more, but it was lacking in the controls dept.

ianoid, haven't you downloaded the MotorStorm demo yet? That was the first thing I did.

GripShift has four player online races. They are very Mario Kart-like. And completing the time/stars/GS icon for each stage in challenge mode is addicting.

How embarassing. I keep forgetting that PS3 has online stuff. I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the advice! I haven't even hook up yet. Probably good for demos, but I'll probably try to keep my gaming online gaming to the 360 for now.

Gripshift is alright, better then most of the store releases.

Resistance is a decent FPS, but how many FPS games do we have to deal with?

The best game is called "Sledge Hammer!" (not affiliated with the old TV show)

It's where this guy runs around smashing PS3's.

Every PS3 you smash turns your measly sledge into "Thor's Hammer"

I'm a level 50 smasher, myself. :)

I plan on buying full auto, genji, and untold legends when I can get them used for around or less than $30 each.
