overheating wii?

i noticed that when the console is off for a while it tends to get uncomfortably warm . yes that's right when the console is OFF, i'm wondering what's causing this.and if this is happening to anyone else?

Yes, it does get warm when in standby mode (yellow light). If you stand it vertically that can help or turn it off completely (hold the power button until it turns red).

Yeah I experienced this too, I think its because if you have wii connect 24 on the network card is still running producing heat.

Just turn it off. Don't let it produce extra heat if it doesn't have to.
