Honestly, I'm just curious. I had high hopes for the Virtual Console, but so far not many of the choices have impressed me, although there are exceptions (Ristar, most of the TG-16 collection). There are some I've been hoping to see, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Post the game you'd most like to see for each category of the virtual console. I'll start things off.
NES - Crash 'n the Boys Street Challenge
TG-16 - Devil's Crush
SNES - Kirby's Dream Course
Genesis - General Chaos
N64 - Sin and Punishment
MegaDrive20XX

TG-16 : Dracula X Rondo of Blood (Yeah I can dream) or Bonk 3
SNES: Secret of Mana or Chrono Trigger
Genesis: CastleVania Bloodlines
NES: Dragon Warrior 4
N64: Sin and Punishment (No doubt in my mind) or CastleVania Legacy of Darkness

NES - NWC
TG-16 - Magical Chase
SNES - Aerofighters
Genesis - Vectorman
N64 - GoldenEye
Honorable mentions: Perfect Dark, Super Buster Brothers, TMNT Hyperstone Heist
Those are pretty much the only titles I would actually shell out money for (besides imports which I thought nintendo said wasn't going to happen)

Amen. This is the only game I will need on the VC, thank you.:)
I'd be interested in anything for the 64DD. Make it happen Nintendo!

TG-16: Neutopia II and New Adventure Island
Genesis: Crusaders of Centy, Decapattack, Outrun
NES: Bubble Bobble part 2, Castlevania III
SNES: Soul Blazer, EVO
N64: Sin and Punishment(Would love to play using the dual analog of the classic controller- I normally play with my right hand holding the controller using the analog and using my left thumb on the d-pad, its weird how i hold it :) )
If their was online play capable then I would love to see Contra, Double Dragon II, and Super Mario Kart. My friend and I used to play these titles all the time in our childhood.

TG16 Parasol Stars
TG16 Silent Debuggers

Super Mario RPG. To hell with anything else.
That would be mine too, as its my favorite game ever, but i just recently bought it, so I won't be buying it on the VC. I recommend everyone to play this game when it's released. One of the best parts of the VC is that it gives games a second chance. While some do not deserve a second chance *cough Urban Champion cough*, SMRPG most certainly does...it was released towards the end of the Snes's lifespan, so it was somewhat overlooked.
Anyway, here's mine...
TG-16 - Bonk 3
Gen - Toe Jam & Earl
NES - River City Ransom
SNES - Earthbound and Super Mario Kart
N64 - Pilotwings 64
And another thing...why the F*** aren't Game Boy titles available?!!?

NES: Super Mario Brothers 3
Genesis: Landstalker
SNES: Super Metroid
TG16: Dracula X: Rondo Of Blood
N64: The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Yeah. I think Sin and Punishment is the only one I'd pay for; they better hurry the before I buy it off ebay first...
I think the virtual console has plenty of opportunites as far as bringing games to the US that were never released here before...

At the prices they're charging I highly doubt I will buy a single VC game. Cut the price in half and I might buy a handful of games. Quarter it and I'll probably spend some $100 on games ;P
That and all the games I'd actually want to play are CD based... I'd love to play some Sega CD and TG-CD games, not to mention Saturn. Not gonna happen though.

Did they say that? That's a fucking shame. I'd love to play Sin and Punishment, but I really don't want to shell out 60+ for an N64 game.

Let us hope that imports can happen, as that is the main things that I want.
1. Dracula X(PC engine version)
2. Sin and Punishment N64

I don't really want any of 'em anymore since they can't even be bothered to make Mario Kart 64 a freaking online game. WTF? Xbox Live can do it. What a waste.

Please pardon my next gen ignorance here. (Or is it next-next gen?)
I know that you can get NES and SNES games for Wii. You can also play games from all of those other systems that were mentioned?
Huh.

Man, I would SNAG General Chaos for genny if it ever got thrown up there! I played this with Nez a while back and it was the damn near most fun multiplayer experience I'd had in some time. Hilarious and chaotic, would be great on the Wii with a ton of friends.

Oh hell yes. It was the first game I thought of when I heard about the virtual con. With one player, it's one of the worst games I've ever played. With multiple, it's one of the best.

It's sad when you don't have friends to play against.

Its not going to happen, but I'd like to see Nintendo retool the Legend of Zelda: Kodai no Sekiban from the SNES Satellaview into a single player offline experience that works well, and release it on the VC.

S&P for N64. It would mark the first game I download and the last at the same time :). Well I'd have to use the remaining 1000 on something.... meh.

For me, it would be any game with online multiplayer. I can't believe you guys would pay $5 or more for freaking roms with no added bonus.

Hows about Speedball 2 with online support... Now that would be sweet!

Yeah, that's exactly why I would only be willing to pick up S&P. On the Live Arcade it's a different story because of the leaderboards, live and/or co-op play, and the biggest for me... the Achievements. Achievements are a huge driving force for me to do extra stuff in the game, so I don't mind buying all these old enhanced games because I'll be rewarded for doing sometimes weird and random stuff, in addition to beating the game. Clear all the dirt in a level of Dig Dug? Awesome. Eat all four power pellets while eating all four ghosts with each one in Pac-Man? Challenging, almost hair-pulling so, but when you do it, it truly does feel like you've "achieved" something and you get rewarded for doing so.
I know they do nothing but I love them, and really do miss them when I play the Wii and will miss them on my eventual PS3 (in several years.... :))

TG-16: Ninja Spirit, Cadash, Air Zonk
N64: Sin and Punishment (yeah, that'll happen), New Tetris
Gen: Herzog Zwei, all Streets of Rage games,
NES: Super Mario Bros 3-'cause I don't have time to beat every level

Okay, we had this discussion in the thread you made on the subject (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93851). I'm not looking to have this one hijacked into a rehash of it. I agree with you that they could have done more with the virtual con, but that's not what we're talking about here.
Poofta!

NES: Guardian Legend or any of the light gun games
SNES: Mario All Stars with Mario World or Kirby super star or any of the great RPGs
Genesis: Phantasy Stars, Landstalker or some cool beat em ups.
TG16: havent played any tg16 games to really know.
N64: Ogre Battle, Smash Brothers, Winback or some of the Cruisn' titles. although honestly i wouldnt buy anything they put out unless its ogre battle.

Ever since the VC was announce I've been dreaming of Super Mario Bros. 3 on that thing. I love the updated versions of the game Nintendo has released but I feel that the NES version is still the best one. Doom Ship Music is dope in the NES version of SMB3. The day that game is finally dropped onto VC will be the day they have to throw me in a straight jacket from all of my excitement.
There's a lot of other good stuff I want on VC, but this is the one that dominates my most wanted list the most.

Uh, guys don't hate, but I had a former co-worker last year who um, gave me his complete copy of General Chaos. *Runs*

I want KI the original ARCADE version, does anyone know if the VC will have arcade ports? or just old consoles? I know the name Virtual Console would lead you to believe its only console's but one can dream.... :-)

The only titles I REALLY want above all else are Rondo of Blood and Sin & Punishment.
Come on, Nintendo, give us imports. IMPORTS!
...
I am sad and lack hope.
