I know I am old enough to recognize this guy:

The good: Transformers video game for the PS2 is coming to Japan in Autumn 2003. No idea on a US date yet.
The bad: Takara is making it and it might suck Rhino...

i liked the old transformers better then the new transformers. At least the old ones weren't as kidish as the new ones.

Considering the only G1 Transformer video game I know of was that famicom ...'thing,' I don't see how it could be any worse for the franchise.

Did any of you guys see the Transformers Movie?. I was never a huge fan of the show but the movie has some big named star's voices : Orsen Wells,Judd Nelson and others. The movie was outstanding. The best scene is when Optimus Prime comes to save the other Autobots and kills like 4 Decepticons in a row. Unlike the TV Cartoon may characters get killed in battle. If you are remotely a fan of the series I recommend it highly.

Death came a knockin' with G.I. Joe: The Movie as well. The leader, Hawk (I think...it's been too long) gets blasted and dies. Remember, it was okay to blow up your enemy (Looney Tunes) but you couldn't kill 'em.
I saw the Transformers movie I think 10 times. I just bought it on DVD Saturday and watched it yesterday, wondering if it would survive the test of time. Oh yes, did it survive.
I forgot how cool it was to hear Leonard Nimoy sound menacing. :)

Well he didn't really kill them, just gunned them down. They survived. The Autobots took the heaviest casualties in the movie. The Decepticons barely, though that's debateable. Megatron lives on as Galvatron but were the other seekers and Insecticons who got tossed out dead when Unicron encountered them? If so then you can say they died, if not, then they got reborn as Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps but they don't seem to make any mention of the fact of any previous life, unlike Galvatron who clearly is the same guy.
Then there are the errors galore, one being the coneheads get killed by Unicron but they show up again later in season 3. Even the Insecticons appear in early season 3 but its a debate if they are clones or if the Insecticons tossed out and got reformatted by unicron were clones.
What? :hmm:

Dustin, you're thinking of Duke actually who got stabbed by Serpantor. Orginially he was supposed to die, but after all the deaths in TF: the movie some people complained so they added in the line at the end "Duke's gonna make it!" just toe ase kids minds.
And TF the movie rocks. I miss Beast Wars myself.
