Microvision Find

Late Post from this weekends finds.

I went to a local Fleamarket which rarely turns up any classic finda anymore. It seems harder and harder to find any good classic stuff. Anyway I passed by a lady with a few boxed board games and in the pile I saw a box that said MICROVISION. She wanted 7.00 and I tried to talk her down but she would not budge. Anyway for 7.00 bucks I figured it was worth it. The system works great. Comes in the box with Block Buster.
Two other games were in the box Baseball with Manual and Star Trek Phaser Strike with Manual.

It plays well, and I was excited since I have never played one before. I guess the games are OK for their time.

Any Microvision Must Haves!!

What do you think 7.00 a good deal for all that?

any system purchase with game(s) for under $10 is a great find.

I heard that MicroVision LCD screen rot rendered almost all units useless over time. Is this not so?

My screen seems to work pretty clearly on all the games

from what I've read about the MIcrovision the early units did not have a shielded screen. those are the ones that usually work anymore. also when first released it ran on 2 9 volts. once it was discoved that it really only needed one 9volt the other comparment was labeled "extra battery storage". if yours has this it probably has the shielded LCD screen as well. mine is like that and the screen works fine.
