Two models of the Generation NEX

Not sure if I am posting this in the right place or not, but I have come across the two different Generation NEX models, and I was wondering, aside from some package and casing changes, is there anything really different about the two?

I didn't know there were two of them. The early one is pretty bad, so I assume the other one is not quite as bad, eh? There is an official thread for the Generation NEX so you should expect a reply pointing you to a different thread (or 10).
