We got many Zelda games as Family. But the most interesting ones are these:

Minish Cap Demo (http://home.arcor.de/mattyxb/Website/rare/GBA-ZeldaMinishCap-Demo.jpg)
Minish Cap Display Box (http://home.arcor.de/mattyxb/Website/rare/GBA-ZeldaMinishCap-Box.jpg)
Twilight Princess DS Trailer cartridge with Box (http://home.arcor.de/mattyxb/Website/rare/NDS/ZeldaTwilightPrincess-PreviewTrailer.jpg)
cd-i Zelda - The Wand of Gamelon (Promo) (http://home.arcor.de/mattyxb/Website/rare/CDi-ZeldaWandGamelon-Promo.jpg)

And the both PAL Bonus Discs for GameCube.

And I hope soon a new Rare Demo.

So does anybody know what originally came in that Metroid Prime/Wind Waker double case? I'm just wondering if the discs were special or if there was a special manual.

Okay, it took me a while to remember to do this, but as promised here are some pics from my Zelda collection.

Zelda games get their own shelf!

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/shelf2.jpg

Zelda, Zelda II, and the GBA re-releases.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/Z1Z2nesgba.jpg

A Link to the Past (best game ever made, by the way :)).
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/ALttPbox.jpg

Link's Awakening, LADX, and the Oracle series.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/Z4Z4dxZ7.jpg

Ocarina of Time, OoT Master Quest, and Majora's Mask.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/Z5Z5mqZ6.jpg

The Wind Waker and Collector's Edition.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/Z8Zce.jpg

Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/Z9Z10.jpg

The Minish Cap and Phantom Hourglass.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/Z11Z13.jpg

Both versions of Twilight Princess.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/Z12.jpg

Link's Crossbow Training in a custom case, a sealed Zelda Mini Classic, and my Zelda DS Lite.
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/lct-ds-mini.jpg

Now the interesting stuff. It always irked me how ALttP never came in gold, so one day I decided to fix it.

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/ALttPgold.jpg
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/ALttPgoldcomplete.jpg

These pics really don't do it justice. It actually looks quite nice in person. Much like the gold N64 carts. It turned out so well, I decided to do the same thing to all the handheld carts as well.

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff120/revlink/goldhandheldcarts.jpg

I've yet to do it to Phantom Hourglass, though. I've got an odd fear that doing so might get it stuck in my DS. Probably unfounded, right? I'll probably get around to doing it someday.

Not pictured are my original Zelda cart (loose, though I still have the map), my original Zelda II (complete, but it's a gray cart), other games with Link like Soul Calibur II or Smash Bros., a few Zelda soundtrack CDs, and various Zelda t-shirts and hats. Oh, and my Zelda cartoon DVDs.

I'd also like to know if anyone has any info on this item.

I found this thread because I was considering selling my copy of Wind Waker / Metroid Prime that I bought at Best Buy in 2005 bundled with my platinum gamecube. I ended up here because I was trying to figure out how much it would be worth.

Anyway, I'm really not trying to solicit, but thought I would let you know that when I get home I will try to answer all your questions about the game and post pictures of the inside/outside of the case, manual(s), discs, and original purchase receipt and anything else anyone would like to know. All I ask in return is what you think an acceptable selling price would be for this item? The item is not sealed, but is in excellent condition (you can judge for yourself when I post the pictures).

Regardless of any replies, I do hope this helps all the collectors out there trying to figure out what was in the original packaging.

It appears that there is nothing overly special other than the joint cover art. Other than that, there are two separate discs, and two separate manuals. Since I don't own the games separately, I'm not sure if anything is different between what I have and the original games, but I would venture to guess they are the same. I purchased the game as part of a bundle with the platinum gamecube in August of 2005 for those curious when it was available. If anyone has any additional questions, feel free to ask.

Is the Zelda 2 proto different from the finished game?

Hmmm you got the whole system bundle?

Yes, it was bundled together by Nintendo, not Best Buy (like how Wii Sports comes with the Wii, not like how Toys'R'Us was forcing you to get 5 games with the Wii). So I'm fairly certain the only way to get the game was to buy the console as well. I just don't know whether or not it was exclusive to Best Buy.

Nice pics over all but not much love for the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess. Even though the perspective is reversed from the Wii version (Link being left handed and all), do people not consider it different enough from the Wii version to merit purchase?

I do not own a Wii (yet!) but when I purchase one, I plan on picking up Twilight Princess for that system even though I already have the Gamecube release.

I have one of these bundles that I bought from Best Buy too that came with the Wind Waker/Metroid combo. I snapped a couple pics of the box. It's just a normal GameCube box with a sticker slapped on it. When I bought it I was expecting both games in separate cases like on the sticker. But instead I got the combo game which is actually a bit cooler anyway. :)

I also have a sizeable Zelda collection, although I regret getting rid of a few of my earlier games (Link's Awakening and I also had a sealed NTSC U Link To The Past which I sold) ~ Also missed out on the golden coloured Zelda GBA SP too which I am still kicking myself over, as it was always full RRP, and I was too tight to fork out £90 for it seeing as I already owned three GBA's.

Here's an old pic of my collection, Circa May 2006

http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/1778/zeldacollectiondm3.th.jpg (http://img175.imageshack.us/my.php?image=zeldacollectiondm3.jpg)

Not a lot to look at back then, but I have filled it out considerably since. I'm just waiting to add Phantom Hourglass to my collection, and i'll update my pictures to include all the other Zelda games I have gotten recently, including Twilight Princess

Since posting, I bought a very limited (Limited to 1,000 units!) silver DS Lite bundle with Phantom Hourglass. The DS Lite is similar to a standard silver DS Lite, but features black Phantom Hourglass logo's on. Here in the UK we didn't receive teh gold DS Lite, so this more than makes up for it

Apparently it was commissioned for distribution for all the small indie website / retailers who deal with Nintendo, and wasn't available at the major high street stores. This is a very sought after package due to being very limited and not released outside of Europe. Very few people actually know of its existence!

I also bought a copy ofPhantom Hourglass prior to buying the DS package, so I actually have two copies now! I am still waiting to get hold of Link's Crossbow Training and the Wii version of Twilight Princess though

I finally got around to posting the Zelda / Metroid Prime combo. Since there was interest in buying it, I'll post the link( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200202513410 )

Hello. This post isn't different from my post on vgmm. But I figure more people I spread this out too, maybe someone will be able to help me complete the collection. SO without further ado:

Here is my collection. All are Factory Sealed and the Strategy Guides are all Official Player's Guides with the exceptions of Legend of Zelda (NES Atlas), Legend of Zelda : Adventures of Link (NES Atlas), Link's Awakening DX, Twilight Princess (White Cover), Twilight Princess (Gold Cover), Twilight Princess (Black Cover), and Phantom Hourglass (Blue Cover). Two games not shown are Ocarina of Time Collector's Edition and Link's Awakening. These two I am waiting to arrive. Once they are here, I'll upload them too. I would also like to change the Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past. I have the Player's Edition. I would like to find the Original, as i'm sure alot of other people do too. And of course the rare CD-i "Zelda's Adventure", The Legend of Zelda: WindWaker/Ocarina of Time Master Quest Combo, The Legend of Zelda : Gamecube Bundle. That reminds me, I need to go pick up the Wii Zapper tomorrow lol. FS = Factory Sealed. Not For Sale.

Which Zelda game on a console has a lot of fighting? Currently my friend and I are playing Twilight Princess for gamecube but we're looking for a zelda with more fighting (so far after 3 hours in just lots of story stuff).

I have NES thru Wii so whatever zelda works for me (although I have both for NES and those are great, but not what we're looking for ).

Nice collections everyone!

One not mentioned is Zelda G&W, here pictured with my other Game & Watches.

And this is not from my collection - Zelda II in Finnish Rental box:

Hey Rev good job. Sell them on EBay as 'one of a kind' prototypes haha. My most valuable Zelda collectible is a sealed Legend of Zelda gold version and Im keeping it, um forever.
