Not entirely certain, but I think the Pro Action Replay 3 is the only converter out there that bypasses Terranigma's lockout chip. It's usually a bit pricey (sometimes commanding $50-$60 for just the cartridge), but it's worth it for playing such a great game.

Edit: This (http://cgi.ebay.com/snes-action-replay-3_W0QQitemZ170071844613QQihZ007QQcategoryZ62053QQs sPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) is the converter you're looking for.

auction is for a snes action replay 3 and its a great one was cleaned and tested today its in great working condition withh it u can put in up to 100 codes at a time and it has FX support for games such as yoshie island and Starfox and it has many features and items in menu screen so many it would take a while to figure out or can write me for instruction on how to operate some of the features it has built in codes for some games such as r-type and zelda and gaia and finaI fantasy 2 ect.. and these are really hard to find in the USA or anywhere one of the best cheat cartss for snes for example in finaI fantasy 3 get and it can be used to get those every rage there is plus other rages players cant usually get such as siegfried chupon and allo ver and infinite maximum money, no random encounter sprint shoes always on maximum stats for everyone which is 255 vigor, speed, stamina, and magic pwr and about anything else you could think of can be used with most codes action replay 2 use except 1 i have found it was made back in 1995 but it does have a keyboard type pad where you enter codes in by clicking a or b button USING the snes controllers codes can be found on websites or can ask me for these above codes thanks for viewing have a nice day

Sidewindera7xo7: Wow...I thought your bid would be safe...it very nearly wasn't... However, if everything works out alright, you should be playing Terranigma here in about 5 days or so.

TurboGenesis: I'm somewhat sure it will not :( . I do intend on trying it with my Tri-Star 64 (one day, heh), though I'm fairly sure that won't do it, either...

Well I tried the game with the Super 8 and its a NO go. A message pops up and says - this game is not compatible with your Super Famicom or Super Nintendo - It looks like the only way to play Terranigma is with the Action Replay MK3 :(

Actually. A Pro Action Replay 2 works. That's what I've been using to play it. but you need version 2 of it or it won't save.
