I want to start collecting soccer games, and I want to know besides the ones I have what are some other goods ones I should get?

I have the following:

Nintendo World Cup (NES)
International Soccer Championship 2 (Sega)
Fifa 05 (PS2)
Fifa 06 (PS2)
Fifa World Cup (XBOX)
Fifa Street (XBOX)
Super Mario Strikers (GC)
and I am in the process of finding a copy of FIFA Street two

Are there any other soccer games that you would recommend. I have also been looking at getting a Winning Eleven game are they any good?

I enjoyed Mega Man Soccer (SNES), but I haven't played or even seen it mentioned for a while.

IMO, the Winning Eleven games are the best soccer games released in the US.

best is Sensible Soccer on Amiga (or C-64 = Microprose Soccer)

Also good for collecting: European Soccer Challenge (Lynx) World Class Soccer (Lynx)

International Superstar Soccer Deluxe SNES is rare, pricey but very very good

On Saturn, I always loved Worldwide Soccer '97, never played the 98 version though

Being a huge soccer fan myself, the idea of collecting all soccer games I could get my hands on has passed through my mind many a time. Don't forget Fifa 07 (which is fantastic), and there are some more lesser known soccer games as well that came out on ps2 and such, such as World tour soccer by 989 games. Collecting all of the Winning Eleven games would be fun. Keep in mind that there's a new winning eleven game coming out next month, as well as UEFA Champions League coming out on ps2 and xbox 360 in March. :D

Well, if you ever obtain a 3DO console, you have to pick up a copy of the FIFA game released for the system. Worldwide Soccer is also pretty good for the Sega Saturn.

The International Superstar Soccer games for N64 are really good - I killed a summer in college playing the '98 version.

I hated the first Virtua Soccer game on DC, but I really enjoyed the sequel on GC.

Sega Soccer Slam is a fun arcade-style game - much better than the FIFA Street games IMO.

Seconded. Even the older versions blow FIFA out of the water. I'm not a huge soccer fan, so my experience with the real game is limited, but many fans claim that it is the most accurate soccer simulation to date.

Winning Eleven is vastly superior to the FIFA's.

I just got it on 360 and it's fantastic.

Winning Eleven is the best soccer game out there. Period. :-)
Fifa is better when you're looking at the presentation, licences and whatnot, but the gameplay ine WE resembles more closely to a real soccer match. That's not to say that Fifa's bad though, it's just different...

Kick Off used to be a very good game as well, although it's arcadey as hell.
Sensible Soccer is fantastic, too.
And Football Champ (or whatever it was called) is a wonderful arcade game as well, though I only include that one because I spent countless coins on it :-)

Just letting everybody know not to buy Freestyle Soccer for the Gamecube it was a horrible game and it was not even worth the 4.99 I spent on it.

People may laugh, but I loved Pele's Soccer on the VCS.

Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution is basically the best games you'll find anywhere.

The worldwide games on Saturn are worth a check as well, but for my money you can't beat Sensible World of Soccer for the PC (and I think Amiga). Truly excellent. :D

Oh, and don't forget the sports interactive management games too. :)

World Cup Soccer on NES is a fun one, especially on 2 player, although it's more kung fu than soccer most of the time.

My suggestions:

- Super Sidekicks 3 ( Neo Geo )
- The Ultimate 11 ( Neo Geo )

Chalk up another vote for 3DO FIFA. Great presentation and really fun.

Outside of the obvious - Pro Evo etc, I'd suggest World Cup Italia 90 on the Megadrive, Sega World Wide Soccer 98 on the Saturn and ISS 64 on the N64.

If you want something a bit different try Football Manager (or World Wide Soccer Manager if you happen to be in the US.) (http://www.sigames.com/downloads.php?type=view&id=374) It's alarmingly addictive.

This series is all you need if your looking for a realistic soccer game.

For Shits and giggles also get Sega Soccer Slam (Xbox or GameCube) or Mario Strikers (GameCube).
