forgive me if i'm in the wrong thread but i wonder if any one here can help me. i recently purchase a itt schaub-lorenz odyssee game console at a garage sale. i have no clue about gaming computers really but a lack of information online about this system online made me conclude that it might be somewhat of a rarity. maybe i'm wrong. does anyone here know anything about this console and whether its of any value to any one. it seems in pretty good condition and contains cartridges and information and everything i think it should contain. any help? thanks

Do you mean the Odyssey2? (http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=4078) There were a bunch of variants, so go check out the Odyssey2 page on the Online Rarity Guide and see if any of the systems or games there resemble yours.

according to that site these are quite rare, especially boxed ones. mine is boxed and seems in pretty good condition, any idea how much this might be worth?

Oh... It's just a German Odyssey 1. EDIT - I just noticed the 'hobby kit'. Do you have to build it yourself?

Are you located in or outside Germany?

Definitely a good find, either way.

So ITT stands for Ikea?
Maybe an electronic division!

Odyssee is actually the German Odyssey. This would be the second known unit found in Sweeden, fueling speculation that it may have been released there.

The Swwdish version was known as Kanal 34.

But none are known to exist.
