In my home office, I have this one HDTV that will only accept progressive scan signals. I know that's kinda weird, but that's just the way this TV is. So back in the days when I would rent GameCube or PS2 games, and I knew I was going to be playing them in this room, I needed to know for sure if they had 480p support or not. Anywho, I was trying to figure out which Wii games definitely DO NOT support 480p.

So far, these are the games that I know for sure are 480P:

Wii Sports
Zelda
Spongebob

I haven't tried any games that aren't 480p yet, but I've heard from a number of different sources that Trauma Center and Rayman Ravin Rabids both don't support 480p. Can anybody confirm any other games, either way? Also, please note that PAL and NTSC areas vary with 480p support. Some games are 480p with the PAL versions but 480i with the NTSC versions and vice versa. It's sad that we even have to deal with all this, 480p and 16:9 should be a baseline standard for the Wii. Oh well, hopefully this is just a symptom of games being rushed at launch and being developed on GameCube Dev kits.

UPDATED LIST OF 480P GAMES (Confirmed)

Wii Sports
Zelda: TP
Spongebob
Wario Ware

UPDATED LIST OF 480i ONLY GAMES (Confirmed)
