Sadly, if you didn't know, the DC and GC servers of PSO are going offline on April 1st, 2007. Hey they lasted for a ton of time so you really can't yell at Sega for finally doing it. Too bad though, it was a real cool online game. RIP.

Yeah I know there's PSU, I should just grab it for the 360, but still people supported the PSO servers for a long time, must be sad for them to see em go.
I bet the PSU servers will last even longer than 7 years.
Oh and GG, I think there are, but those maybe shut down too, the whole online system is basically being shut down.
And in march, the month before the shut down, you can play the whole month online FREE.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the fan-made servers, like this one (http://pages.globetrotter.net/ctrep/howto.html), which I think runs using this software (http://www.fuzziqersoftware.com/index.html). These aren't under Sega's control, and are hosted by fans, so they won't be shut down anytime soon.

Did someone say FREE? Does anyone know if you can play PSO with the Wii? I own the game but the manager at my local EB told me the servers were down years ago. Oh well.

The Wii does not pass the "Broadband Adapter check". Neither Mario Kart, nor my PSO games will show the system as having a broadband adapter connected. :(

Sad to hear that the PSO servers will shut down in about 2 months :(
But thanks to Sega for supporting the community for almost 7 years !!!
