Woah, Blue Dragon and now Gears Of War? Maybe the 360 does have a chance in Japan after all:

Good maybe I finally spent 70$ for a collector's edition game that will actually wind up being worth it in the future. (As I have seen the collecto'r edition of PREY for 25$!)....Halo 2, Doom 3 ect.ect.

Eh, I seriously doubt that your collectors edition will be worth anything in the future. The freaking game has sold 3 million copies already. It's going to be common as fuck in the future.

Was thinking the same thing, but how "limited" is actually the collectors edition? It doesnt seem to hard to get. Nevertheless, its now that you want to enjoy it so the $70 is worth it :)

one of the only collectors editions i see beeing very valuable in the future is the three disc edition of MGS 3: Subsistence...even some people who reserved it never got one.

crazy, I ended up with 2 copies reserved and kept one sold one to my friend for cost, but It is completely rare. though a great edition.

They've always liked 2-D shooters. Maybe they're just finally making the transition to 3-D now.

From what I have heard the Japanese mostly dislike 1st-person shooters. Population is very suseptible to motion sickness or something like that. RE4 got the whole 3rd person-over the shoulder shooting hot and GoW is capitalizing on it big time. From what I've seen/heard it's a great game and I'm glad that Japan seems to be warming up to the "Evil American" system. Makes the chances of my buying a 360 all the more brighter.
