1) Make the Restoration Society a permanent section of the forum.
2) Dedicate the next forum d'jour to pinball.

I've really been getting into Visual Pinball (the pinball game design and simulation software by Randy Davis) and have played some amazing tables, some based on real pinball games and others designed from scratch. Did you know that someone created a Visual Pinball table based on the Darius series that's actually BETTER than the games that inspired it? I also finally had the chance to play the two Pac-Man pinball games... and those aren't so hot, but it was still fun to spend a few hours of quality time with them.
If you haven't done this already, download the Visual Pinball software and some tables today. You can get everything you need from the link I've supplied below.

Oooo, thanks for the link! I had a bunch of tables on my PC but then I had to replace the hard drive and I had no idea where to find them again. Time for some Earthshaker!!

'Ya gotta get the Darius table... it's spectacular. Also, the pinball/video game hybrids are fun (Granny and the Gators, especially), but you'll have to go to http://www.shivasite.com and register there to get the game ROMs.

Visual Pinball is great. Have you tried out my Baby Pac Man table yet? ;-)

Dude, that was yours?!
Wow, man. You did a good job reproducing the table... too bad Bally didn't make the original better than it was, though. Baby Pac-Man was a cool concept but the execution was pretty flawed.
What other tables have you made for Visual Pinball?

Actually, to be honest, I'm not sure if the table you played was the one I originally did or not. I think early 2002 was the last time I made a release. See if my name's on the table anywhere.

The only other table I made that's worth mentioning is a conversion of Midnight Magic. And wouldn't you know it, I never bothered removing it from my web site. ;-) http://www2.gvsu.edu/~brittedg/MidnightMagic.zip Hopefully that's my newest version...
