View Full Version : I can't find S Controllers anywhere.

My cheapo pc usb gamepad is nearly worn out, so I figured I'd make use of the xbox->usb adapter that I originally bought for using the dreadful SF Anniversary pad.

I've been to walmart, TRU, EB, BlockBuster, and a few smaller stores in Toronto, and none of them stock the Controller S.

I'd rather not resort to ebay, and I won't settle for a 3rd party pad (except maybe a MicroCon), so if anyone knows where I can find the controllers in or around Toronto, I'd really appreciate a heads up.

I know there are other good usb pads, but I don't like the 360 dpad, and most of the other good usb pads use either PSX or Saturn layout, which aren't quite what I need.

I never see any of the stores carry new ones anymore.
Go to your local EB/Gamestop and ask them if they have any used ones outback. If they dont have them call other stores near them.

The EB closest to me has a buttload, but the Gamestop 10 mins from my house has none. Go figure!

If you can't find one locally, you're probably going to have to get one off the internet... or possibly a pawn shop?

Yeah, I'll keep looking. There's a store in Hamilton that still has xbox systems for sale. It's not really a gaming store, so I guess that's why. I'm going to get a friend to check to see if they have pads too.

I was really surprised by how quickly the xbox stuff disappeared from the retail channel. Up until recently, I was still seeing PS1 stuff in a lot of places.
