The C$ has dropped a little bit (maybe 5%) against the US in the last month or two (guessing as to timeframe). So maybe some sellers are reflecting that in the price since their cost is no doubt in USD.

Either way, what's the difference. It's either too much or too much plus $40.

I wish microsoft payed attention to the exchange rate. The 360 has been overpriced by ~$60 for almost a year. Sony could raise the price, and it would still compare favorably to the 360.
As it stands, the 20GB PS3 is only 10% more expensive than the premium 360, while in the u.s. it's 20% more.

699 Canadian dollars = 593.026215 U.S. dollars

I don't think we are getting screwed. Though it still doesn't justify the already high cost of the PS3.
