http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=187&item=280064513093 (no stains, 2.95 BIN)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=187&item=280069216263 (stain, 9.95 BIN - cancelled to due listing error. I'd say the error is the price, but then it was relisted...)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=187&item=280074241190 (same starting bid, same BIN, same description)
Iinflation sux. Then again, so do cat-piss stains :D (or whatever the hell is all over that...)
Why not ask the seller why the difference in prices? He posts his auctions regularly in this forum

Could be wrong, but I am guessing the seller figured that that the first of two he had sold relatively quickly so he thought he listed it too low, so he raised the price to see if he could get more. Basically seems like he was unsure of the value.

I wish stains made things more valuable. I gotta few pairs of old undies I could get rid of.

Yeah I think he was just playing the proverbial "ebay field" for a good price.

Well, it would explain the price of hotel rooms...
