"HellCats Over The Pacific" Question

I'd like to play Eric Parker's flatshaded polygonal masterpiece on my Apple Macintosh SE/30 computer.

But the game's color & although my machine has color ROMs
I've been burned before as far as trying to play color games on it -- like "Tristan" -- the pinball simulator, for example.


I get an errormessage that says "MUST USE COLOR COMPUTER" or something like that. lol


Does anyone have any firsthand experience playing "HellCats Over The Pacific" on an Apple "Macintosh SE/30" in black & white ?
