Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter Q?

I have the basic cox cable modem none wireless or anything fancy, will this work http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802124 if all i wanna do is connect to LIVE ? Or do i need something else or can i just hook it up to my 360 and im on LIVE before i know it? any help is appreciated..

i dont know if I understand your question.
you need to have a wirelesss router to use the wiress adapter that you linked to.
