Low Print Run.

I guess that makes sense. I was kinda hoping for some crazy story like you get with "the guy game" but low print run would be the likely reason. Either way I found a copy the other day and was surprised to see it had a R7.

Yup, that's excactly it. 'Twern't many made. Don't know how good the game is though. Good game plus low print run equals high demand/price. What I like to call the "Intelligent Qube Quotient."
Oh, and you may want to add more question marks to your next query's subject line. Six wasn't nearly enough.

I dont know if you are serious or sarcastic about the questionmark thing, but from what I have read it seems to be a fun little game.

As already stated, it was a low print run game. Was also released on the sega saturn (also with a low print run, but not as valuable). Its actually a pretty fun game, surprisingly.

Yup. Low print run for both PSX and Saturn versions. A fun game; reminded me of Legend of Oasis. Low print run. Fun.

That's probablly the best comparison. It's a cartoony Beyond / Legend of Oasis. Pretty good if you like that Zelda genre. Gets kinda hard too! (That's what she said!)

I can't remember, but didn't the ZAMN makers have a hand or two in it? It can also be described, loosely, as sort of a ZAMN game but in the Hercules/mythical realm
I have the SAT version and it's a solid game, IMO.

what's amazing about this game is that it's an RPG style game that I actually enjoyed playing.
I'm HERCULES! Heck, I may even play it again sometime :)

And to think I was just curious about rarity. It looks like I will be playing my copy as well.

Rarity Schmarity. Play your games, they're more enjoyable that way :)

Cool... I didn't know this was rare. I scored it off my girlfriend because it's an original LucasArts title, and I'm down with that. :)
In a way... couldn't you consider this an unofficial sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbours? They're both overhead action games made specifically for consoles by LucasArts.
EDIT: looks like someone already mentioned ZAMN! But I've been meaning to make that comparison for awhile...
