:eek 2: Wait, don't shoot me (Note my user name!) it's not me that said it, doing a Google search on Retro Gaming As it's my hobby, along with Retro Computing I came across THIS SITE:

Read just a little bit and thought Damn! He's right! Why didn't I see it before? I have seen the light, and now I will go and "Strap my ass to Xbox Live" so I can be a cool modern gamer! Oh wait, I forgot, I'm that to as my DS / PSP / PC / PS2 will attest to. Hmmmmm, yes that is sarcasm.
Thought it was just damn funny because what I don't get, it's like gay bashing or something, if your not "into it" why the need or compulsion to rant and put it down so much? What a tard....................Please, discuss......

It's a parody, an extremely funny one. Was posted about on here before, but I cannot find it because the search function is magic.
I thought it was obvious....a GBA SP backlight-removal kit? "All old games suck, even OutRun"? The table comparing other things that have gotten better with time at the bottom?

LOL. I skimmed through it, but read the first paragraph. As someone said, it's a parody. But if it were real, ah who cares? It's just one dude's opinion. Play what you like and have no regrets :)

UK Resistance has a ....unique sense of humor. And yes, it is actually a humor website first and foremost, just mostly about Sega and/or bashing Sony. Go ahead and check out the homepage if you want to see what I am taking about.

Honestly, I like most of their other stuff a lot better. This one about Retro Gaming just kind of fell flat to me.

Yeah that made me laugh as well though I would not put those two games in the same category. It does seem however that the person has a huge bias towards graphics over quality.
Coronation Street, Eastenders, Chips......yep British humour alright.
Actually I liked their Gizmondo review/visit to the shop at the time

Hmmm, I'm a huge retrogaming fan & my wife knows it & still has sex w/ me all the time. :)

I realize it was meant to be a joke, but if someone told me it was written by that GodofGTA kid and it was serious I would believe him. People who think that way do exist afterall.

I'm telling you, those guys have a crazy thing for Sega, especially their arcade products... really bordering on insanity.
well yes, Sega was huge in UK. SMS did far better than NES, MD was more popular than SNES.
Trocadero was a huge Sega arcade in London (and well worth visiting too), Nintendo never did anything like that.

My god, how could you have not read the whole thing, it so funny! In specific:

Soo true. While I was reading it I actually started to think, what about classic car collectors?! Then out of no where, BOOM, comparison! LOL Good stuff though I'd have to be pretty pissed off to make a page like that.
