Checking all of the ones on eBay, all I see are the clear ones like most of the GBC games I own. But the copy I own is a regular grey cart.
I'm sure there isn't a difference in value, but does anyone else own one?

Based on your description (vague as it may be), I'm suspecting that it may be a pirate copy. Providing some pictures of the cart and the board might convince me otherwise.

According to the Game Boy Color entry on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_Color#Cartridges), clear carts were for Game Boy Color only games, while black carts were for games that were compatible with the original Game Boy/Super Game Boy.
A grey Game Boy Color cart is probably a pirate/bootleg. :(

Exactly what I was going to say. :)
Original & Pocket GB games: Grey carts (only kind that work on SuperGB)
Gameboy Color: Clear carts (can be different shades)

I am also going to have to call pirate cart on this one. :/

So sorry that I didn't describe to your liking.
But hell, one look at the back and I notice it has a regular screw. Well damn... i'll take a picture of everything for the hell of it in a bit.
Thanks for the tips everyone.
