Hello, sorry if this question is asked elsewhere, but hey, I guess I am new here...

Anyways, I was wondering how the rarity of snes games are calculated. Did the people who made the list have access to actual sales charts, or is it a rough estimate of what the rarity might be? Also, I have just purchased Chavez II, which is appently quite rare, and I was wondering just how rare it was.

Another question... I am wondering about the rarity of a Super Famicom game called "Rendering Ranger". I heard only 5000 copies were made, and I was wondering if it was indeed that uncommon.

Chavez 2 is one of the hardest to find SNES games, you are correct. It was intended for a Spanish audience and was mainly sold in the Southern US region. As with most games there are no specific sales or manufactured numbers, but with the small audience and the fact that boxing titles tend to do poor. The first Chavez is rare as well, but the followup part 2 is definitely in the top 5 hardest to find complete SNES games. Someone posted a link about the few copies on Half.com before touting the rarity, but once those dry up you will have a very hard time getting one, yunless there is a warehouse find

You are also corect on Rendering Ranger being very limited. Copies tend to sell in the 100 range on Ebay when they pop up. I am not sure of manufacturer numbers on this either, but it is definitely a small run
