View Full Version : Never thought I would find someone with two Samba De Amigos.

So I had a friend of a friend tell me he owns two Samba De Amigos with Maracas for sale. I really wanted the one that was absolutely complete (box, mat, etc.) but he didn’t want to part with it unless I wanted to pay the hefty sum of $70. But he did have a second one that only had the Maracas and the game (pretty much the only thing that is needed to play) for a friendly $30.

Now I ask you, should I not be the fool and get that other Maraca set, or just wait till I find one cheaper?

Two Maracas, who would believe that on a whim?

$70 is way too low of a price for a complete set, man.

At least it was months ago...

I'd buy up another one for myself for 70 in a heartbeat. They still regularly move for close to 100 a pop and I felt pretty damn lucky to get the one I got for 75 that has some box wear and stuff on it.

I bought two sets of Samba for my boyfriend. Both complete. One was the US release for $80 and the second version was Japanese with Samba 2000 for $70. I consider both as having been a steal.

I've never understood people who go on about how they really want a certain game but then have second thoughts over a few dollars. $30 is NOT a lot of money for a game that you've always wanted. Besides, whats the most you'd save if you turned it down and looked for another, $5-$10? While there always the possibility that you wont find it again for as good as a price as you didthe first time.

I'd snag it repeatedly for $70. 100 times out of 100.

Gotta add my 2 cents to this, even though it's the same as everyone else's opinion -- BUY, BUY, BUY! $70 for a complete Samba is absolutely worth it. Even if you don't want another one for yourself, you'd have no problem selling it.

I had one long ago, but sold it before I got into collecting. Man, I still regret doing that. Maybe Sega will release a version for the Wii someday...

Congrats on that OP

I also am part of this illustrious crowd...although not in the same capacity of OP (one of my maracas is the 3rd party one still fine)

now...multiple Steel Battalion owners...that's crazy

sorry hahahaha couldn't help myself...besides I had to take these pics to prove to someone I had them, and might as well not make them go to waste.
