Monitor flickers

Hi all, I'm new to arcades and just got a few, but I'm having some slight monitor issues on one.

The Real Ghostbusters by Data East.

The monitor will go from just fine to a redish tint all over, then back, for no reason. I can post pics later if it might help.

It seems like it might be a loose connection or is it something worse?

Yeah, if you can, post a pic. It sounds to me like an intermittent short in the red gun (in the tube). It could also be a bad connection to the PCB (at the JAMMA harness), or possibly a bad solder joint on the chassis.
