That looks phony...

To be honest, I've never even heard of Airball... When I see some pics of the game in action (from the guy selling the game) I'd tread lightly on this one.

This was an unreleased Tengen game...at one point around 4 different protos were known to exist in collectors hands (each supposedly had different %s of the unfinished game). The game was desirable because it was thought to be undumpable due to a very strange and unmappable board. However, within the past year a lot of people now think that one of the owners or former owners managed to get a copy dumped and released repros of the game.

diskoboy: Read the description. He says it's not a prototype. It is a reproduction cartridge.

Airball is an unreleased NES game by Tengen. There are 3-4 "real" prototypes that exist, but lately a slew of repros have been shoing up. The game also came out on Atari XE, and has a "look" similar to Solstice, but you care controlling a "blob."

I think i have an idea who's doing this but it doesn't matter i guess. It's a pretty fun to play game but remember repro's can be much cheaper then 50 bux so skip this one i would say.

Yeah I doubt a proto would look this fancy anyways. I mean it just looks like the game without a sticker

I thought this game was supposed to use the Power Glove. Anyone?

No, that's Super Glove Ball. Airball was going to be released. I've even seen Tengen ads that mention it. Could be legit, but the seller should show a screenshot to make people believe. I wouldn't bid on it without one.

You know when people use words like "Super Duper" in their auction description, it's not real.

Airball was to be released for the NES. I myself have seen advertisements on posters for it and I think it might have been talked about in a magazine. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

There have been a lot of Airball repros lately and I'm starting to think it is a certain somebody which dissappoints me. However, I have no concrete facts of this.

Hounder, easiest way to find out which cart it is from is by someone grabbing the duplicate cart, and comparing it to the one that starwander owns. The title (legals) screen on the one I have, and the one starwander has are different.
