Hello, all!

As the Philly Classic 4 show nears, I plan on updating Adv II's dev site more frequently, culminating with the release of a demo right after it debuts at the show. Today is the first of these updates, go check out the above link!

Looks great, as usual. But just wanted to let you know there's a pesky yellow dot on all your screenshots ;)

Can't wait to try it out. :D

All I can say is WOW!!!

Ron, that looks amazing! Is it possible Koffi was just a warm-up... ?

I'm waiting for the game. I remember sometime ago at Atariage there was a poll to decide what shape the character should be and the majority voted for the classic square.

Would this make Adventure the oldest current series, 25 years?

other running series doesn't come this old (Zelda and Super Mario are just under 20 years for example)

If the spectacular Koffi was just a warm-up, you'd better buckle yourself in for a wild ride. Ron is amazing. :-D

I can't help but imagine a climactic battle at the end, between the little yellow dot and Link from the Zelda series.

Heh, Link with a powered up Master Sword, and the square unfortunately holding only the bridge LOL

Very, very, nice- especially the Red Dragon. The playfields are also better than most "official" 5200 games!

Did you post this at the Atari Gaming Headquarters, too?

This is the final time I'll bump this thread -- if you check out the dev site, you can see the full-screen Seashore Castle and also one of the hedge maze screens for the first time, and get additional info about the game.

For those of you who are going to Philly Classic 4, I suggest a challenge. In the Adventure II demo that AtariAge will show, the collision routine is unfinished, allowing you to access parts of the screen you won't be able to in the final game.

I did not have time to put in the Key / Open Castle logic ... but you can get inside the castle if you battle the collision routine and work your way to the top of the Castle screen. My challenge -- who will be able to do it?

Other than that, I also want to say that the PC4 demo's colors are not quite what appear on the dev page -- we will correct them in time.

Thanks!

Naturally I'm going to need a "review copy".

You know. So I can review it and whatnot. Looks great so far and your label artist is obviously a tremendous talent.
