Crysis Video Released

Hey guys, the Crysis video was released, and it's pretty impressive. The version that was released by EA was distributed as a 60 MB, widescreen trailer that is gorgeous! I had to convert it though, for bandwith streaming capabilities. It's still far superior quality to what you will see on a hosting site though (as you know it will be up on YouTube soon enough).

Thats the best looking game i've ever seen in my life. I am a huge Farcry fan and this just looks fantastic. I just need a pc to play it.

The project leader (name eludes me right this second) gave an interview this week saying that it will work on DirectX 9 . . .

but he also said don't play it on DirectX 10 and then try playing it on 9, as there's a world of difference.

Ok, dont know about DX9, but it will be DX10 too atleast :) Cool if it works on DX9 too so people dont have to get Vista just to play this game in particular. But all the physics and stuff is crazy. I was checking a stage demostration video (found it at www.gametrailers.com i think) where the leading guy (probly the eludes guy you mentioned, looked spanish atleast hehe) talked about different stuff. He showed a tide wave comming in and said that that particular wave had 10 times more technoligy than the entire Farcry. Now thats crazy! :o
