View Full Version : Atari Flashback 2: Are there any left in stores?

I finally decided (many months too late) that I wanted to get a Flashback 2, mostly for something to keep out at my parents' house for when my brothers and I all "come home".

Now I go shopping for one, and I'll be damned if I can't find one anywhere!

Have they all been clearanced off the shelves? Are there places where it is still stocked?

Anyone have an extra they want to let go of?

The end.

I'm pretty sure I've seen them in my local FYE stores as well

I saw a bunch at Sears today. Then again, no one buys stuff like that around here.

Plenty of them at Fry's. We've had some trouble pushing them, even when I can snag somebody and say "dude, those things are AWESOME, y0." Kinda sucks, really... I want EVERYONE to own one. lol

WE had them on specail at target for black friday for 20$, we still carried them after that for about a month then it was discontinued. so no Target no longer carries it. I do see them pretty often at thrift shops for reasonable prices.

I bought mine for fairly cheap and never used it. Hello btw. I'm new here. Friend of mine from gameTZ reffered me. Anyhow, I don't particularly want it anymore. It never did get used. The box is open but it's brand new still in all the ties and what not.

I saw one at the Salvation Army last week, it was missing all the wires tho.

How do the controllers stack up against the originals? I know they plug into the old 2600 consoles. I would think they're pretty much identical, but then again, I haven't tried using them in a 2600 yet.

The local Target has a few - but they're still $30. They seem to be getting rid of their plug-and-play stuff (most of the other units are marked down to $10) so I doubt they'll be around too much longer.

The Target by me (Union, NJ) has a lot of them.

Yep, target. They've got them in Nashua, NH on Nashua St. Don't know about the Pheasant Lane Mall location, though.
