I have to leave at 6:20 and won't be back till 9:00 so I'll try to be as thorough as possible.

I'm trying to find a certain old game but I don't know the name, maker, or year.

This is what I remember:

I think it's name is Worm War(s).
It's a computer game.
It has bad(not advanced) graphics.
It was "old" in the year 1998 or 1999 when my brother showed it to me.
You played as a worm.
You fought against another worm (controlled by a human).
I never remember fighting a computer-controlled worm or more the one worm at a time, but I do not remember that being impossible.
You could make your own battlefield.
Battlefields were made by arranging rocks in certain patterns.
There were big rocks and little rocks and neither had a limit.
When you played on the battlefields, dirt would fill in what ever space rocks didn't.
Dirt would be destroyed by the explosions of your various weapons, but the rocks would remain.
I know that my mystery game is not one of the Worm War series of games. Some of the games of that series are featured on this website: www.bobtheschizo.co.uk/wormwars.html
I think my game is an imitation of the game(s) I just mentioned.
The view of the game did not pan (go from left to right, right to left, up to down, or down to up).
There were at least 3 different types of weapons that I can remember ( laser, mine, mega explode bomb) but there are many more.

got to go. please leave suggestions.

Actually, it sounds more in line of something like Scorched Earth; however, I don't seem to recall any of those types of games that involved worms.

EDIT: Just a little late...

Yes you are thinking of Worms... Worms 2 was the best one of them all I believe.

My friend and I had lots of fun with this one. The exploding sheep and the holy hand grenade were fun weapons. And you could use a grappling hook to move around the playfield ala Bionic Commando.

Too bad they had to go and ruin the series by making it 3-D.
