...if you don't have to live in the US. So someone contacts me about trying to get the console connected to his TV here in the UK. Any thoughts? It has the standard AV and RF connections, but the Arcadia uses something different now, does it not? I figure he'll need some sort of signal convertor anyhow, but not sure where to start on that front. Don't know if there's one available that uses the same input.

Are you talking about connecting a US Arcadia 2001 to a UK tv? A US Arcadia 2001 has a standard RF out just like an Atari 2600. I don't know about all the Euro versions though. I've got a couple of them but I can't remember what kind of output they have.

Probably find a Coaxial F to Pal converter and it should work fine.

I'll get him to take a pic of the cable end just so I'm sure in my mind what's he's trying to do! :p

Looks like an AV connector, but does it really carry both picture and sound along it? I've not seen something like that before tbh. Is that the same connection as an NTSC 2600?

Yep, that's the same connector as all old US and Japanese systems. You can get an adapter to go from that to coax if that helps you.
