Was this game released here in the US because I just got done playing a rom version and I had never heard of it prior to this. Is it available on the NES or will I need a famicom to play it?

Nope no link I just saw a rom for it and it seemed pretty interesting. This game may be what makes me get a famicom its like a board game mixed with an RPG I will try doing some research here in a minute.

That game had a good soundtrack. I recall ripping the battle theme years ago.
