Sega? New hardware? Well not quite... wondering if anyone had already heard of this?

Seems to be BA exclusive for the moment... though a few varients show up elsewhere (not in white though I can see).

Wow this seems pretty cool. I doubt its very enjoyable though once you get tired of those ten games unless you can download new ones.

Looks like one of the Coleco branded SMS/GG all in ones.

seems kind of expensive for what you get...is this really a SEGA product?

Not Sega afaik, licensed through a third party to manufacture. I presume Sega only greenlighted using their games on license.

Yeah, looks like someone's bolted an MP3 player into the PlayPal/Coleco units that appeared a few months ago. Seems pretty steep considering you can get those for about $20-$30 now if you're looking in the right places...

edit: and here's yet another portable unit with licensed Sega games - this time with a built in CD/DVD player!

You have to go click "Order By Mail" and then the "Electrical" category and it'll be listed in there. Looks pretty cool, though way over priced. I think I'd rather have one with the Coleco logo on it. That's just kind of cool. Those ones are cheaper anyway and have more games.

Of course, if you could load SMS games from the SD slot on this device, that would be worth it, but I doubt you can.

Actually though, I'll probably just wait for SMS emulation to get perfect on the DS, then I'll be happy. The DS's screens have the same resolution as the SMS, so it'll be perfect emulation once they get the sound issues fixed.
