I'm amazed we don't have a thread on this yet. Three versions of Puzzle Fighter on the same disc, three Buster Bros., and Block Block.
For PF II alone, this disc is well worth the price. The games are formatted for the PSP, and Buster Bros. lets you use your own photos for the backdrops. Great features.
However, I've run into a number of glitches. Two so far have shut my system down entirely. I can't view more than a few pictures without having to eject the disc. Right at the last boss in PFII X, it crashed on me too.
I'm hoping it's just my disc and not the coding. I can't imagine blatant glitches like this were missed during testing. So, until I know for sure if it's the disc or not, I can't say run out and buy it, but it has PFII. Three versions. PFII. Yeah, it's worth it.

I have Super Puzzle Fighter II for GBA and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo for PS. Do you (or anyone) know what the difference is between the PSP versions of Puzzle Fighter and the two versions I already have?
I was debating buying this game, but I didn't want to get it if it was just essentially the same game I already have.

This is the Dreamcast version. You get PF X, Y, Z. X is standard, Y is a Columns clone and Z plays like Yoshi's Cookie. All three are still versus and you still drop blocks on the other character. Also, it's been updated for the widescreen too, not just stretched out.
Obviously, these are totally different mechanics. Remixed soundtracks are included. Street Puzzle mode is gone as everything is already unlocked, including the extra characters. Well worth the upgrade. You can even take screen shots of the gameplay and send them. Shame they didn't add internet play (Ad Hoc only) which would have been a must have, glitches or not.

GRG is just a lucky SOB and got a review copy, plus Rubiks Cube :P
I am dying to hear about the glitches.
Also, is Block Block the exact same one that is on Capcom Classics PSP? Any differences? (No I never did try it out).

Hehe, you sound like the IGN review that ended up stopping me from buying this at release. I really only want it for the Buster Bros. games and they had nothing good to say about anything other than puzzle fighter.
So how would you rate the collection if it didn't have any Puzzle Fighter on it?

I played the Buster Bros. games on it. And I am a huge fan of Block Block. So I would pick it up for those. I don't turn into mush over Puzzle Figher, but its nice to have.
Thee versions of Buster Bros., you can take screen caps, Ad-Hoc MP, I will be buying it, especially since I got to play it for a few hours.

Just an FYI...
Universal price drop to $19.99. I finally picked it up at Best Buy this afternoon.

AFAIK, the glitches some people are repoting is a firmware thing. Can't remember where I read that (Joystiq? Kotaku?) but I think it has something to do with the 3.50 fw.

Yea, its the latest firmware. 3.4 fixed everything, 3.5 broke it again.

yeah it's one of my top 5 games for my psp. Now if capcom would just quit hatin' and port the D&D collection to psp so I can have some more fun.

This I think is one of the most rare games for the psp. I haven't seen this thing anywhere since the price dropped to 19.99. I mean nowhere.

Wow, too bad I returned my copy a month or so ago. There's no reason for me to own it if Puzzle Fighter doesn't work. I really wanted to keep it too :(

I was having trouble with this game freezing on me when I tried to play Buster Bros. It works fine for me now since I've updated firmware. I've had Dracula X Chronicles crash on me too under certain circumstances in Symphony of the Night.
