I'm just curious as to how well the scarcity rating reflects the production numbers of a game. Is a 1 game like 10 million or more, and a 2 5 million games or what. I know its not a cut and dry formula, but is there a ballpark?

This is why the numbers are always changing. For example, if someone discovers a warehouse full of a particular once rare game then more collectors are going to have access to it and it's rarity will be downgraded accordingly. The quantity in which that game was produced of course never changes.
