Ok so i always use to play wii 1 player. I've never had any problems with it but i always had roomies who would bitch about how they wanted to play but i ony had one controller. So i just got wii play the other day so im like sweet now i have 2 controllers so we can play each other in all these wii games that i have. So the problem here is syncing them i guess. So i tried it this way i syncd one of the remotes by pressing the sync button on the wii and then on the remote just to get one syncd. Then i will go into the wiimote settings and will press 12 12 12 12 12 until the 2nd wii remote pops up which isnt a problem. The problem is whichever remote is the 2nd user ALWAYS gets disconnected! Like it'll work for about 5 mins then get disconnected for 2 seconds and then connects back on. Which is annoying in most games because a screen will popup and say it lost connection to one of the remotes.
We wont move or anything and itll connect back on without making any serious movements just by sitting down. It's not any of the wiimotes because they both do it whichever one is on user 2. I also tried it this way, i pressed the sync on the wii and had 2 of my friends press sync on both of the remotes at the same time. IT as well got 1 controller to sync and then i had to sync the other pressing 12 12 12 12. Battery isnt a problem brand new batteries. Both remotes do this problem whichever one is user 2. Doesn't matter which remote they both do the same thing.
I have no idea what the problem is and would like any opinions or help. Or any other successful way besides the 2 i tried that got to to sync both of your controllers. I am very upset and am about to sell my wii over this problem. I heard i could send it back to nintendo but i dont have a receipt. It might be at the usps because i had a notice a month ago to pick it up but stupid me i never did. Would nintendo still fix my wii? Let me know asap on anything i need help!

I'm sure Nintendo would fix your Wii if it turns out to be a hardware problem. The only time you ahve to show the reciept for stuff like that is if there is a possibility of the machine being out of warranty. Since the system has only been out 4 months now - it has to be inside the warranty period.
I could give thier 1-800 number a call and see if they have some idea as to what is causing the controller to disconnect.

I don't think this is a hardware problem. It sounds to me like you're just not doing it right. You should only have to synch a controller once. You won't have to synch it again unless you synch it to another system.
Try this. Press the Home button. At the bottom of the screen is Wii Remote Settings. Click that. There is a button there that says Reconnect. Click that. A screen comes up telling you to press 1 and 2 together on each remote you need connected, and to do it in the order you want each remote to be. In other words, have player one do it first, then player two, etc. And you only have to press 1 and 2 once! Don't mash on them. It should take a few seconds for the system to recognize your controllers, then a second while it waits to make sure no other controllers are trying to connect, and then you should be good.
You should be able to do this at any time, even in the middle of a game.

you have to sync all your controllers using the little red button.

Syncing by pusing 12 is a tempororary fix. When you load up a new game, you'll have to resync it, and if you play a VC game the temporary sync won't work at all. You must permanently sync them.
To do this, turn on the Wii and get to the Wii menu. Your first remote is already synced, so leave it alone and go to the second remote. Take off the battery cover and push the red button under there. The four lights on the wiimote will blink incessantly, as it is awaiting input from the console. Then go to the console and flip back the cover over the SD card slot. There is a rectangular red button just adjacent to the card slot. Push it. Now stand back and point the remote at the screen and wait. It may take a few seconds. Start pushing A if takes forever, and eventually the blinking will stop. You'll have a newly synced wiimote. Point it the screen to see the hand cursor with a "2" over it, and you're in business.

ok so the problem still exists!!
Less disconnects but defantly the same problem only with user #2. It's not a remote problem because both remotes do it just depending on which one is user #2.
They mainly disconnect in the racing games where you have to turn ur controller sideways. But it also happens normally. It happens A LOT and its very very annoying. They both have perfectly new batteries in them full all the way to the bar when i press the home button. I did the nintendo website way to sync press remote sync then wii sync. Then do it again with the 2nd remote no more 1 & 2 crap because that was what i was doing the first time. But it still has the same problem. Anyone have any suggestions or to just turn my wii into nintendo and hope it doesnt keep up?

Well, if the disconnects are occurring during gameplay, that's never normal. The 1 and 2 trick will only drop a remote when you load a new game or something.
Have you considered there may be a problem with your sensor bar? If there's any kind of heat source (a cable box/tivo or DVD player or anything) nearby, or light from a window hitting it, it will go absolutely ape shit. That's happened to me before.

The disconnects have nothing to do with the sensor bar. The Wii-remotes communicate to the Wii via Bluetooth at all times. The sensor bar is for the IR camera in the Wii-remote to sense where you're pointing on the screen. This in turn is how the cursor knows where to position itself on the screen.
The problem here is that the bluetooth on his Wii is loosing the connection with the Wii-remotes. I honestly don't know why this would happen.
I myself only have two controllers. The one that came with it, and one extra I bought on launch day. The one that came with the Wii has worked fine communication wise since day one. Never had to sync it as it came synced with the Wii already. The other one I picked up has also been working fine since launch. However, I did have to do the sync procedure for that remote to be part of my Wii. Now, I can use either one and they will both work as player 1 or player 2 depending on whether the other remote is on already or not. Also, I was told the distance on the Bluetooth is about 30ft on the Wii remotes. This is semi accurate as I had mine in my hand once to answer the phone in another room that was at least 25+ ft away and I could still feel the remote vibrating from the cutscene that was playing at the time on the Wii. So it was still able to communicate just fine from another room easily enough.
I say something must be hosing up the bluetooth signal. Either that or for some reason, the remotes themselves are stepping on each other while you use them. As for what or why...I honestly don't know.

Well the sensor is on the top of the tv. Below the tv under a desk is a cable box and thats it. No sunlight is coming in. No crazy glass tables. One player works perfect.
It's while im playing, and i realized its one of the remotes just shorting out or something. The lights turn off(disconnects for a few seconds) then it makes the noise it makes as it just turned on. Then it catchs on again. I thought it was just user 2 but i marked the working one switched it up and it was the same remote messing up on user 1.
The main thing i need to do to solve this theory on a true answer is to buy another wii remote to see if it does the same thing or not.
