N64 Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness

My wife is playing this game and has gotten stuck. Some parts of some of the mazes are behind greenish blocks with Mesmerelda's picture on them. How does she get past these blocks? Don't have a manual and couldn't find a walkthrough online, so maybe somebody here will remember.

You couldn't find any walk-thru's? Here's a few for the DC (same game so no worries there) just remember to copy/paste the link and don't click on it as it wont work as a hot link. I don't know which one is better so take a look at both of them to see which posters style works for you and your wife.
