I have a problem with both of my side loading NES's.

NES #1 : I recently cleaned it and it put it back together, now every single game has vertical black lines going through it. Think I may have bent a pin or something on the connector.

NES #2 : Grey screen flashing problem, took it apart twice in one day cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and Q Tips, has very little effect, still hard to get games to show up on screen, freezes every once in a while.

Lightgun Orange Zapper: White boxes dont appear, so it is literally impossible for me to shoot anything.

Im thinking of ordering new 72 pin connectors, but first I wanna see if there is a way I could just repair it or something.

A very common problem with taking apart and putting together toaster Nintendos is that you can screw down the black plastic loading assembly tighter than it actually should be. Try loosening the two screws holding the front of it (the thing that looks like a spring loaded tray) if you did tighten them all the way previously. The tray loads better with a little give and this subsequently makes for better contact with the cartridge.

Check the pins of the connectors also, you could probably bend them back into place with a sewing needle because they all eventually loosen up.

Thanks, I'll try it later.
