It looks like this will be a big one folks. Tables are filling up fast (and only $10 for a table!) and there looks to be a whole bunch of new vendors this year. Free to attend too! Your Friendly Neighborhood Sniderman has reserved his table already. I'd love to see the Ohio DP crowd in attendance her and at Cinciclassic later this year (whenever they announce a date).
So, show of hands. Who's coming to CCAG? See the weblink in the first post for updated info!

I'll definitely be at Cinci, but this is a show that I've wanted to go to for a few years now, and haven't been able to make. The date/time looks great though! For now:

I will be there, I just have to reserve my tables. Which are you at Sniderman?
I am selling about 1/3 of my collection, mostly Atari and Sega. I will definatly be looking for big lots of NES games.

I will be there, I just have to reserve my tables. Which are you at Sniderman?Table 46, pal. Just needed a lil' one, but it'll be jammed full of the usual Sniderman Deep Dish Discounts TM. (Just ask the Cinci attendees. As the day wanes on, my prices go lower...and lower...and lower to "give it away" levels.) :D

I sent the email for tables 34 and 35. MrSmiley381 and I are sharing the tables so he will be there also.
I just don't know which promo shirt to wear, I wore the VB shirt last year, maybe my new Wii shirt.
I love this show for being so close to me, it is still only 20 miles away.

Odds are I'll be there...some friends of my attended a few years back while I was out of town...still kinda miffed about that one...
Not sure whether I should be selling though...I have a ton of Colecovisions and 2600s I want to get rid of...but that's it really...And I'm horribly attached to all my video games...

Hmmm... with the cancellation of the closer-to-me Erie show, I'll be making the ~3 hour trip, gas prices be damned. NES games, clocks, Coleco and Atari systems... too much stuff that I'd like to pick up. :)
Either way, it'll be a nice road trip and a chance to meet some DPers in person.

Well, I put in a request for a few tables in the back room as well. I missed out on tables on the main floor, but it should be a good time anyway.
I'm selling stuff cheap too - I don't want to bring anything home with me that I take.
Only thing that will be a bit pricey is:
NCSX Region Switched Gamecube w/ Nintendo Component cables (it's Platinum too!)
But we'll see how that goes!

Please do stop by my table and say hi as well! I officially got the last two tables of the show, way in the back arcade room, so don't forget about us back there.
I'll be rocking my swank DP namebadge, and I'll be dishing out the sweet deals as well. I really, really can't bring any of this stuff I'm taking home, so I swear, one of my two tables will be $5 and under goodies, with tons of items for $1. N64 games, Gamecube, PS2, Xbox games, game systems for $5, and so on. Some other goodies priced at $10 and up, but still cheap as free.
I have a nice New Super Mario Bros. standee as well.
And I'm bringing maybe a new video game related art print if I can get them printed in time for the show (I have a few Pac-Man ones left I think from last years ECGX also) - and some video game bead art probably too.
Also, probably 100+ video game magazines, probably something like .25 cents a piece. Mostly Nintendo Power/Game Players, and some odds-n-ends.
Tons of stuff, and I seriously, seriously can't be bringing it home - I don't have room. So if you stop by, be prepared to get more than your money's worth - and I'm sure if you mention that you're from DP, you'll get an even greater hook up!
See you all at the show!

Hi there,
FYI,
At the show, you'll be able to buy a copy of Sudoku for NES (and a chance to win a gold copy).
I also donated a copy of my Pacman4K game for the 2600. No other carts authorized be me will be made of this 4K game. I think it's going to be a part of their auction. You can read more about it on my blog at http://dnsdebro.blogspot.com/2007/05/pacman4k-released.html.

For those who have not attended before the auctions are chinese auctions. At the front of the room they will have the stuff for auction plus a bowl. You buy tickets for a buck and tickets are placed in the bowl. Near the end of the night tickets are pulled and the winners announced. I think you may get 2 or 3 tickets free for just showing up.(i could be wrong though, can't remember the deal)

Saturday in Cleveland was a great time. I managed to check off a whole bunch of things on my "to find" list. Among them:
A 2600 and 25 games, 17 games for the NES collection (putting me at 556 total), Mario Baseball, Zelda Four Swords and Metroid Fusion from Downfall's table, a Pac Man clock (a housewarming gift for my friend's new downstairs arcade) from Sniderman, a gray copy of Al Bailey's cool homebrew Sudoku game (#39/100), and a few other odds and ends that I don't even remember right now.
Oh yeah... then I won the gold copy (#4) of the Sudoku game, too. :) That's a fun story since I misheard an early drawing and thought it was gone (it was all I threw tickets in for), wasn't paying attention during the actual drawing, half heard my number and claimed the prize about a second before they drew a new winner. Then my friend who came with me won the pinball machine. Good times on the ride home, I must say.
Disappointments? Not many, though I was hoping to land a Coleco system there and surprisingly, they were pretty much non-existent (or at least *I* didn't see any). Aside of that, it would've been cool to meet Soviet Conscript or Mr. Collection there, if only to put faces to names, and chances are good that I walked right by the both of you. But I did enjoy talking to Downfall and Sniderman in person immensely (the first DPers I can say that about), as well as the guys from the NES World table, so hopefully I can get to some more shows in the future.
For my first decent-sized show, it was top notch.
I had fun at the show and found some nice goodies. Im glad they had an on site Bar too : ) Heres some pics from the show :

heh, didn't know that was you. it wasn't really on my top tier of things i was looking for. my plan was to sweep through real quick for anything i really wanted then go back for anything else. not supriseingly it was gone on my return. nice looking system for a good price, like i said i was dissapointed but not suprised.

funny, i wasn't looking for one but i had the same thought, saw a few games for it but thats it. there was enough Odessy hardware/software to float a battleship though.
speaking of the auction i'm happy i won my Windows 95 disc, i acually was looking for one.

I said the same thing to my friends that came with me. You couldn't turn around without seeing one. I too picked one up along with 41 NES games. Unfortunately, due to forgetting my list, I bought 2 I already have, so I finished at 598 total instead of 600 like I was aiming for.
Still, I thought the vendors were better this year, although there seemed to be fewer, as many vendors had multiple tables. Good show overall, though.

I ended up going with my GF my 2 other friends and one of their GFS.
we all ended up at dave and busters till 12.
I think last year had a bit more variety but I did find most of the things I was looking for.
I needed a new c64 disk drive. I had two and they both stopped working.
I got the a complete 64 set for 5 dollars. I got a disk drive "just tested the drive and it works :)
all the cables, mouse, 1 game and the c64.
the c64 does not work no biggy since I really only need the drive. maybe I could fix the c64 if put some time in to it.
I got some nes games but I did not find the one I was looking for batman return of the joker.
I got a cheap nes game genie I plan to gut and use as an adapter to get my powerpak nes flash cart working on my RGB modded nes. i hope ;)
any one know what the HD ready atari 5200 had done to it?
My main complaint is some people would take a bath before coming to the show.
the smell almost killed me and my GF.
I had great fun at the show. Thanks to those who covered my tables for me to get more BEER, and let some out : ) Heres some things I was able to purchase when I was able to get away from my tables :
3 Gameboy/GBColor Pokemon Games loaded with maxed out Pokemon 5.00 each
Atari 2600 6 Game Switcher 15.00
Sega Channel 10.00
Sega Game Cart Chuck Rock 2 3.00
NES Blaster Master 2.00
I am sure i will find more when I unpack later today.
Next Event will be run by Myself and Big Matt Teske ( Osmodiar Games ). The show will now be a twice a year event and have Longer Hours, Most Likely 12-8. The Location and Floor Plan will remain the same. Any Ideas/Input would be greatly appreciated and can be e-mailed to me directly at mgedeon216@aol.com. Next Show will be Sunday OCT 12th 2008 ( BROWNS are off they have a Monday Game ) and I will be Donating a New Sealed Limited Edition Mountain Dew XBOX System to be given away. The Next Show after that will be May 23, 2009. Hope to see you all at the future shows. Mike : )

I know there were Colecos and 5200s everywhere.
The "HD ready" 5200 did not have any mods to it, but I think Soviet Conscript bought it.
It was cool to see that boxed Adam.
I got:
Famicom $20 just found out that the last 3 digits in the serial are 666 lol
Master to Game Gear converter $10
Stack-Up and Tom Sawyer for the NES $8
I was in the Nintendo rehab t-shirt in case any of you are wondering.

yhea, i bought the "HD ready" 5200, nothing done to it, it was just a joke.
also picked up a nice boxed odyssey 2 from mr. collection.
also ended up grabbing a boxed C64c as well as a boxed disk drive for $20 and finally got my hands on a commodore monitor. i was pretty happy overall and i have to agree there was a bit more variaty last year with stuff avalible.
was kinda hoping to find an Amiga 1200 or a apple II though

Wow, I really gotta get to more of these :)
I got around 34 games covering just about everything, including 3 for NES (tough with me sitting at around 716 or so) a Lost Vikings 2 for Snes, Bouncers for Sega CD (not worth much, but I loved it when it was called Basketball Sam and Ed on C64 ;) and an Odyssey 3000 in Box, along with some more Lynx goodness, some complete Saturn stuff, Spy vs Spy for Master system (2p FTW), Star Wars Arcade for 5200, some complete DC games that were 2 for $5 (Confidential Mission, I've missed you so ;) and a Jp import of Faselei for a buck.
I'm a happy camper, though I saw another NES game I didn't have get sold for $2 bucks right in front of me :( but it was to a nice dude, so oh well.
Game Zone in Erie is planning on a fall convention in the area, I'll post if I get more details. PM me if you are an interested vender (I'm helping Tom at Game Zone set up this year.)
Yay CCAG! Next year, I'll be ready ;)
Here's some pics I took at yesterdays show. You wont have to wait til next year as the next CCAG show will be OCT 12, 2008. Mike : )

Thanks for the kind words and sorry. :) I missed you at the drawing afterward because my friends only wanted to stay for the big prizes we threw in for, but shoot me a PM if you want.
As for Erie... depending on when it's at, we discussed grabbing a table to get rid of some random doubles and such, so I might be interested. We'll see. I wound up buying one game twice on Saturday (second time for only $1) and doubling up on 3 from my previous collection due to lack of a list, so I'm only at 596 NES. Boo-urns.
And speaking of Dreamcast games in your post, that's one thing I think I saw very little of. Somebody had a boxed Dreamcast keyboard (maybe it was at Mr. Collection's table?) that I considered picking up, but I waited too long. Figured I didn't have Typing of the Dead right now anyway.
