I'm thinking of buying a PSP but I have heard that the battery life is pretty bad so I'm wondering what the best battery pack is for it. I'm also looking for one where I can have a couple fully charged so that I can swap them out if need be. Any thoughts would be great.
Thanks

The battery life for the PSP seems pretty average to me, then again it all depends on what you do with it.

I was concerned before I bought my PSP too. But I was pleasantly surprised with the battery life. I thought it'd suck the juice back like a Game Gear, but it doesn't , it's closer to the DS in battery life (just not quite that good)

The life of the battery also depends on what you have your screen brightness set at, whether or not you have the wi-fi switch on. They have something under settings on the PSP to be able to save battery life to help out. It aint that bad, I have the stock battery and it doesn't really give me a whole bunch of trouble.

I've never had a problem with the battery life either, and count me amongst those who were convinced it would stink beforehand because of all the negative publicity.

Anyway, I bought a pair of PSP handles whose manufacturer escapes me, but includes a built-in battery as part of the deal. The handles make it feel more like a DualShock which is cool. The battery inside the handles doesn't really add noticable weight, and pretty much doubles the time I can be away from a power source.

I've yet to run out of batteries on a long plane ride :)

(If I can determine the manufacturer I'll edit this post).

Battery-life is just another idiot rumor started by the Nintendo-cultists. My DS and PSP are really neck-and-neck in terms of battery life (the DS seems to win out when I'm using it for GBA games however, likely due to the use of just one screen as opposed to two).
