Hey gang,
Basic Electronics 101 question:
1. Friend brings over a Dreamcast he wants me to test.
2. I get off the plush "velvet-ish" couch I've been sitting on all day.
3. I go to plug in the video AV plug into the front-accessible plugs on my TV set.
4. Spark of static jumps from plug to input.
5. No video, thought he sound inputs are fine.
6. No video from anything plugged into that input - DVD, PS2, etc.
Question: I fried the input didn't I? TV works fine with the other AV inputs, but that one input seems to not take a signal. Anything I can do? Unplug the set for a day to let - I dunno - something discharge or reset or something? Any quick fixes to try?
