This episode of Pulse covers a lot of the aspects of CGE although the museum is probably twice the size that it was back then. (if you can believe it).

I've got video footage of keynote speeches from 2K1 and 2K2. Unfortunately the Activision keynote speech from 2K2 ends prematurely. I ran out of battery power :(

IIRC I posted these to the newgroups sometime ago.

I hope to make it this year but so far it doesn't look good :(

Hey, that brings up memories. 2K2 was the first and so far only year I made it (I WILL be there this year). I'm actually on the video, literally for a split second! When the camera is quickly scanning the line of people at time index 0:32, you can see me at the very end of second 0:32/beginning of second 0:33, I'm near the end of the line with glasses and goatee, wearing a black T-shirt that says swåp written in orange letters (and I'm wearing it right this moment, oddly enough). I'm just a blur.

Also very personally gratifying was when Joe was in the museum talking about the Vectrex minicade. The very one that he's talking about in the museum was one that I had found and sent to him. Earlier that summer I discovered and bought four of them; it's very gratifying to have my small place in video game history. I'm content.

Can't wait to get there this year and make some new memories.

Hmm, CGE tastes like Corona. LOL

I am hoping to get out there one of these years. I am glad it's back in Vegas now, as I think it's cheaper all around than CA and it's closer to where my parents live.
