hi, i am trying to make a ' retro game covers' quiz of loads of scans that i have accumulated. I wanted to use powerpoint and have the cover flash up (with the name removed obviously!) and when you click the button then the next slide will show the answer of what the game was. I have done some with screenshots too.

However, i can only get the covers and scans to show in order, is there any way to randomize the order of the slides in powerpoint or is another application more suitable for this?

I'm fed up of knowing all the answers for the first 20 games and can't be bothered to sit throught them to get to the end?

any ideas??

cheers.

It sounds like it would be easier to do what you want to do in Flash.

If your goal is to eventually post it online, Macromedia Flash is probably the way to go.

The problem with just randomizing slides in PowerPoint is that you have the answer on a separate slide, not sure if there would be a way to link the question and answer together. (unless you make the answer pop up on the question slide, pretty sure you can can have text reveals on a single slide)

Yeah, Flash is probably your best bet. Although Flash doesn't randomize frames, you could easily build one with Actionscript.
