ok well im using a sega cd model on with an genesis model 1. and when i turn it on the lights slowly flash on the sega cd then the lights go away..would this be a problem with how i have the pushed together? does anyone have instructions how to set it up or do i have a bigger problem?

It might be a power issue. My sega cd sometimes freezes if it is moved around and will not take the adapter the genesis use.

Oh this old question lol,for both the genesis 1 and sega cd 1 & 2,u need a 1.2MA or 1200mA adapter,but the sega cd only accepts sega brand MK-1601 dc adapters. Also clean the extention connector with a rubber pink eracer or rubbing alcohal and a cutetip swab.

did both of them things still wont work? so do i have a blown fuse or something worst? ive took it abit and seems to fine checked the fuses that where exposed etc...
