Hi i just brought one and i open the side of it, there was like a red computer chip saying DO NOT REMOVE, what is that?

Thats just a plastic red cover over the pins that connect the Sega CD

Not that im gonna move it, im leaving it in unless i get a Sega CD

Well I don't think it's going to kill you or anything lol. Regardless I'd leave it be, these things are put in place for a reason generally. Any ways, didn't you have to remove a black cover to get at it? Or maybe your system is missing that cover, which isn't uncommon. If there was ever a Sega CD attached theres a chance that the original owner lost that cover.

Yeah it's like an expansion port. That plastic cover is there to protect it from dust & spills and to prevent curious fingers from frying it with static electricity, I guess. You can remove it if you like...it isn't a "functional" part. Go ahead and take a look under it, just put it back when you're done.

Do you have a basement? When you take it off make sure you can get down there within 10 seconds! If not just try to get out of the house!

When you take that red piece off it will make all your game systems blink like a dirty NES, reset all your clocks, and make it hurt when you pee.
